As I was down Ipswich way delivering paintings for the Suffolk Show art show at Trinity Park this coming Wednesday and Thursday I made a detour on the way home to Woodbridge where I sat and sketched the Tide Mill. I would have liked to spend longer on this sketch but it was cold blowy and drizzling and my chinagraph pencils were not ideal. On another day I would have added much more detail to the fishing smack “Good Intent” which was moored in front.
