I have been invigilating the current exhibition “Paul Cope Plates” at Halesworth Gallery in Halesworth. The building was an old Alms house and made an excellent subject for today’s sketch.
These apples were from a tree which is growing on the cliffs by the beach at Kessingland.
It is mid September and there are numerous people swimming in the sea and sitting on the beach at Southwold. What a summer and long may it continue as it makes my sketch a day challenge much easier.
The ‘Rachel Linda’ moored at Slaughden on the River Alde. At low tide sitting in the mud with the river creeping nearer and the Martello tower behind.
Once the former Pakefield lighthouse this is the Pakefield Coastwatch tower. This is part of the Sea Safety Group, a charitable trust, which is an independent group of coastal watch stations and manned by volunteers. http://www.pakefieldcoastwatch.co.uk/
