Down towards the southern end of kessingland beach near the sluice.
A collection of sea tumbled stones and bricks from the beach.
A beautiful walk, here sitting on the edge of Deadman’s Covert where a bench has been suitably placed for this wonderful view across the River Blyth. Even better is the wonderful form of the gnarled old Oak tree here in silhouette. If the view is not sufficient then there is the wonderful audible sound of Curlews calling. A busy estuary today as high tide approached with large numbers of Redshanks, Black-tailed Goddwits and Avocets.
Love these teasels seed heads growing in among some Phragmites reeds.
