An unplanned sketch today as a Herring Gull decided to land on and sit on my car bonnet. Lucky I had my sketch book with me.
Kessingland beach seems to be a good place to find good sized bird feathers and a walk can nearly always turn one up. This feather was a slate grey.
This morning with a low sun over the sea on Kessingland beach. The sea was as flat as a pancake with hardly a ripple as so peaceful with the gentle sound of the shingle rolling in an almost non existent surf.
