I have been trying every now and then to produce a drawing that represents the reason for all these drawings and that is to promote the Yana Project. I posted today’s drawing on Facebook first and this was the comment left by Melinda from the Yana project. “The most poignant to date. So many farmers are unwilling to share their concerns. If you are low, stressed or anxious, please speak to someone – friend, family, GP or Yana. You are not alone.
“The next generation” YANA day 39 of 100
So another from the Aylsham show from Monday. So many of the farmers children take their farm animals into the show rings and it is great to see them getting involved. This youngster wasn’t much bigger than the sheep. Looks like a farmer in the making.
“Hereford cow at the Aylsham show” YANA day 38 of 100
Needed to get the sketch done early today in preparation to being on the sofa on Look East. A huge thank you Penny and David who looked after me on the show but also every one else (especially Amelia and Alex) whilst we waited. So another one from the Aylsham show this drawing of a Hereford.
“Look East”
To all my East Anglian followers I am going to be live on the Look East sofa tomorrow (Wednesday) with the project. Should be sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 pm unless there is some other breaking news.
“Getting ready for the show ring” YANA day 37 of 100
The Aylsham show on bank holiday Monday a great friendly country show where these Dexter cattle were being prepared ready to go into the ring. There was a great range of cattle and sheep breeds.
