Jill Anne Dunwich
I remember Jill Anne from about 30 years ago when she used to be on the beach at Dunwich fishing regularly with the small fleet of other wooden boats such as Dodger.
Then as the boats ceased to fish from the beach she was moved to the Blackshore at Southwold harbour where she remained for many years. Interestingly she was still with Dodger. Now she no longer fishes but she can still be found in the gardens of The Ship public house in Dunwich. Sad in a way but at least she is still loved and cared for and she serves as a reminder to times when many small boats for a large inshore fleet.
