Busy day painting in the studio so I have fetched these dandelion seed heads in from the garden. Ready to spread their seeds into the air. A bit of a menace but also strangely beautiful.

On a drizzly day with a cold breeze off the sea. Quick sketch, the grey conditions making the seascape rather dull with no love and warmth. It is always amazing how much effect the weather has on the relative beauty of the beach. Today is much more of a painting in the studio day.
