Broken eroded brick All along the beach at Kessingland are eroded remnant of bricks. These are as a result of the coastal erosion as buildings have succumbed to the North Sea. This brick is a beautiful terracotta colour.

Baby Hedgehogs In the garden this afternoon 2 or 3 baby hedgehogs about 10cm in length.

Burnet Rose Hips At Kessingland there are several Burnet Rose (Rosa pimpinellifolia) bushes. Earlier in the Summer they were covered with beautiful deep magenta flowers but these have now matured into deep red hips. This is a particularly thorny species and the stems are covered in hundred of tiny thin thorns.
