The sheep were an the otherside of road to yesterdays tractor and cultivator just off the A12 on the Benacre Estate.

“Tilling the soil” YANA day 60 of 100
The first sign of the cultivating activity was the flock of white seagulls seen over the hedge row. This is the first step in preparing the field for next year.
“Grapes ripening in the vineyard” YANA day 59 of 100
These Auxerrios grapes are waiting to ripen so that they can be harvested just like many other crops they are dependant upon the weather which holds their fate. In the Suffolk countryside lies Valley Farm vineyard near Wisset.

I was really taken with Blythburgh free range porks piglets so I couldn’t resist another drawing. I am not sure exactly how old these are but I guess not more than a week or two. Anyway they were very cheeky and having a lot of fun.

Many thanks to Blythburgh free range pork for letting me see their pigs and piglets out on the road to Westleton. I had such fun being surrounded by them all and generally being nibbled.
