Smooth Hawk’s Beard sketch Smooth Hawk’s-beard – Crepis capillaris flowers all the way through until November great as flowers to sketch have become a little limited now.
Pheasant Feather I found this rooting around in Reydon Churchyard, a beautiful tail feather from a cock Pheasant.
Cultivated fields at Rushmere I love a freshly ploughed or cultivated field. The furrows give so much form to the undulations of the land and are great to draw and paint. Also great feeding for Crows and Rooks.
