Day 146, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge
On a drizzly day with a cold breeze off the sea. Quick sketch, the grey conditions making the seascape rather dull with no love and warmth. It is always amazing how much effect the weather has on the relative beauty of the beach. Today is much more of a painting in the studio day.

Day 144, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge
Sitting down on the Blackshore in Southwold harbour on a chilly May day looking across the River Blyth towards Walberswick Church.
Day 143, of my 2016 sketch a day challenge
At the beautiful Ellingham Mill on the River Waveney near Beccles. Here the river passes over a weir and under this little foot bridge. Very lush and green and the river is moving quite fast, great spot for some Otters.
